Bio
Jill is a multi – JUNO Award winning Audio Engineer from Germany, who has lived and worked in Ontario, Canada since 2014. One year into her studies at the SAE in Cologne, Jill won the AKG Scholarship of Sound in 2010 as one of the most motivated Sound Engineering Students in Europe. During her last year at the SAE, she also attended the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf to study Media Technology with a focus on Audio, before using her theoretical and practical knowledge to get a position as a full-time Engineer at Jukasa Studios, in ON, Canada.
There she had the opportunity to learn from and work with world renowned producers and engineers on countless projects, gaining more insight on the different approaches to making records. Being able to work with different people and spend time learning from their workflow and decades of experience, Jill’s enthusiasm for the music industry only grew that much more. Having a passion for music since a young age, Jill gives every project her full attention and strives to get excellent results while helping artists work on their vision.
Highlights of her engineering career include working with bands such as: Alice Cooper, Ian Gillan, Three Days Grace, City and Colour, Alexisonfire, Protest The Hero, The Standstills, July Talk and The Trews.
During her time working in Canada, she has accomplished to engineer two Gold Singles and a Gold Record, as well as having worked on numerous US Billboard #1 Hits and one #1 Album in the German Charts with Alice Cooper’s “Detroit Stories”.
