In SAE's exciting and hands on taster workshop, we’ll explore the career of an emerging artist on a journey from studio to stage!
Under the guidance of our expert tutors, Duncan Lewis and Jack McNally you will experience the day in the life of a music industry professional across sectors such as Artist Management, A&R, PR, Digital Marketing and many more to gain an authentic experience of our dynamic and forward thinking course. The music industry is vast and ever evolving, we are excited to invite you along to take your first steps towards becoming part of its future.
What will you need? No prior experience required - Just a passion for music, a curiosity to learn the ropes!
What will you do?
Welcome meeting with tutors who will introduce you to the course in relation to the contemporary music industry; the various roles within it including opportunities offered through SAE partnerships.
Explore the network of roles and businesses involved in the management of an artist’s career
Participate in an active studio recording session with an artist followed by a Q&A surrounding the artists achievements, aspirations and long-term career goals
Work collaboratively under expert guidance to produce a 12 month plan for the artist to develop their career
