SAE has now been approved as an Unreal Academic Partner for our Games Art and Animation and Games Programming degrees.
Unreal Engine is already embedded in our two-year courses but this new partnership status increasingly validates our work and enables the academic team to build on what has already been achieved to date.
Unreal Engine is an industry-leading creative suite of tools that enables game developers to create advanced and immersive gaming experiences.
The Academic Partner program ensures institutions like SAE can accelerate their Unreal Engine/Twinmotion-driven courses through exclusive benefits. These include enterprise software licences, premium service subscriptions, co-marketing opportunities, and Marketplace credits for projects.
Commenting, Geoff Hill, SAE Programme Lead for Games and Web, said: “It’s wonderful to see SAE UK continue to grow our industry connections with leading game development partners like Epic Games.”
“The Unreal Engine has been a core part of our Game Art and Programming courses for many years, with numerous student games made with their advanced technologies.”
“And with our new Games Design course starting this September, collaboration between game designers, games programmers, and game artists is a core part of our program where students will make games together in studio environments using Unreal Engine, just as they’re made in industry.”
“I’m looking forward to seeing the amazing games yet to be built by our students, and bringing them closer to industry with this Epic partnership.”
