The applicants contact details and not the contact details of the representative will be used to update you on the status of your application, and to provide you with your offer if successful. If the application is being made by somebody else on your behalf, please make sure that these are your contact details and not the contact details of that person.

Please tell us about yourself and why you want to study your chosen subject at SAE. Remember to include information on creative projects you have worked on and/or your passion for your subject.

If English is not your first language, it is important that we understand your current level of English. Like your education background, there are minimum entry requirements on all of our courses to allow students the greatest opportunity of being successful within their course and to comply with UK Visas and Immigration policy.

To comply with UK law and regulations, we need to know information about your immigration status, and immigration history. We also ask questions to help us to assess your fee status, to ensure that we provide you with the correct tuition fee information.

Whether you’re a UK, EEA or International applicant, we are required to ensure that you have the right to study in the UK. There are times when we may need to contact the Home Office and UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) about your application. This is to allow us to find out more information in relation to your application to study with us, as well as to ensure that you are eligible to study with us.

Once we receive your application, we may request an Immigration Check from the UKVI which will provide us with your previous UK immigration history or pending visa applications, and may also request copies of any previous immigration documentation that the UKVI may hold about you.

We may also ask specific questions such as for an update on a pending visa application that you may have. If you require a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) to allow you to gain a visa to study in the UK, we may ask the UKVI for evidence of your visa outcome, or the status of a pending visa application. If your visa application has been unsuccessful, we may ask for a copy of your visa application interview transcript, or other documentation that the UKVI hold in relation to your visa application.

We ask you to provide us with information relating to any conditions (physical, mental or learning), that may have an impact on your studies or associated activities with us, or where special arrangements may be required. We do this to ensure that we are able to comply with relevant legislation such as the Equality Act 2010 and to identify reasonable adjustments that can be made to support you if required. • I confirm that the information I have supplied on this form is, to the best of my understanding and belief, complete and correct and understand that the giving of false or incomplete information may lead to the cancellation of my application or any subsequent offer made. I understand that SAE may use information held about me to make checks using official, publicly or commercially available checking services.
• I understand that if I provide a personal statement or portfolio for my application, and it appears to have been copied either in part or full from elsewhere, and is not my original work, that this may lead to the cancellation of my application.
• I understand that if I choose to make a payment towards my studies before receiving an Unconditional Offer that any subsequent refund requested will be subject to a £150 administration fee.
• I confirm that I have read and understood through this application form how my personal information will be used, and understand that I may withdraw my consent at any time by emailing datenschutz@sae.edu
• I understand that the withdrawal of my consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent I gave before I decided to withdraw my consent, and that in some instances SAE may need to continue processing my data where they have a legal basis for doing so.
• I understand that SAE may need to provide information from my application and any subsequent documentation provided, to government departments or other bodies for regulatory purposes.
• I consent to SAE obtaining official records from any educational institution that I have attended or examination board or awarding body.
• I understand that SAE are not responsible for any mistakes or delays, or any loss or damage suffered by me as a result of any mistakes or delays in the processing of my application.

As outlined in our privacy policy, the information that you provide us will allow us to assess your application and provide you with an outcome. We’ll also provide you with information about the course that you’ve applied for, as well as the College and University.

By law, we may be required to carry out certain checks on you and the people that will be paying your fees. By submitting your application, you are confirming that you and other individuals named within this application, have provided their permission to share this information, and for it to be used by us to carry out these checks. This may include sharing this information with relevant checking services, including the Refinitiv World-Check One service. Refinitiv is our third party checking service provider.
