With a Masters in Games Art and Design, SAE Recruitment Officer Laura Wheale, who joined the team in December, is already making headway in introducing the local community to the benefits of studying with SAE.
Over the last month Laura and the wider team have run over 28 school events, either on campus or in the wider community.
Commenting, she said: “My role as recruitment officer has been so rewarding, meeting potential students and showing others the vast opportunities available within the creative industries is an absolute pleasure.”
“It was always going to be challenging, showcasing a brand new campus and getting the word out there, but I’m enjoying the challenge and showing those students they can be their creative thinking selves.”
With a passion for video games, performing arts and journalism, Laura has all of the skills and more to be able to light a spark of interest in the minds of the future creative industry. Her passion is to help others in any way she can and to play a part in inspiring a future generation.
At each of our SAE campuses, we value our local community and want to share our excellent facilities and knowledge of the creative industries. Building strong links with surrounding schools, colleges and FE institutions is especially important to us.
Through our provision of specialist workshops, access to our state-of-the-art studios, bespoke tours of our campuses and facilities, work experience opportunities and more, we are looking to work closer with local communities to the educational experience.

STUDY AT SAE LEAMINGTON SPA
Our new Leamington Spa campus opened in September 2023 and offers two-year accelerated degree courses in growth creative media industries – Audio Production, Content Creation & Online Marketing, Game Art Animation, and Games Programming.
