SAE Liverpool will be hosting an industry panel at the Sound City Festival exploring the ‘Sound of the Future’.
Taking place at FACT Liverpool on Friday 3rd May from 2 – 2:45pm, the panel will discuss where the world of audio is heading as artist opportunities to create, record and release music have evolved.
Discussion will explore Dolby Atmos and traditional recording studios to home studio set ups and laptop productions.
Duncan Lewis, Music Business Lecturer and moderator for the panel, said: “It feels like the perfect time to take look at the future landscape of audio production itself.”
“With Dolby Atmos, all the talk of TikTok and the influence and impact of AI, the future is possibly not as far away as we might think – it promises to be a lively and informative debate.”
The panel will feature:
Mike Cave | Mixing and Mastering Engineer and owner of The Loft Mastering [Lewis Capaldi, CamelPhat, The Lathums]
Ted White | Mixing and Mastering Engineer, Dolby Atmos specialist and founder of Soda-Sound production studios [Dua Lipa, Skream, sagun].
