SAE’s Uni Jam event has been named as a finalist in the TIGA Awards, a event organised by the trade association representing the UK video games industry.
The Uni Jam event saw SAE Game Development students join peers from different institutions to gain invaluable collaborative experiences.
SAE students took part alongside students from LSBU, UAL: London College of Communication, Goldsmiths, ACM Academy, Staffordshire University, and ICMP.
Hamie Nouri is a Game Programming and Game Design Lecturer at SAE and helped bring the Uni Jam together. Haime and SAE students will be participating in the Global Game Jam (GGJ) running from the 19th – 26th January.
An on-site event will be held at Goldsmiths University while numerous online activities will also take place.
Haime said: “We’re incredibly honored to have Uni Jam recognised by TIGA, and we’re grateful for the support of our amazing participants and community.”
“With the Global Game Jam just around the corner, we’re excited to continue fostering creativity and collaboration in game development for the students. This recognition inspires us to keep pushing boundaries and bringing more events for Uni Jam to life.”
